Welcome to Himalayan Jungle Adventure Tour Guide Office!
By reserving a Chitwan safari, village tour, or any service with us you automatically accept the following terms. Please read them carefully; they protect both you and the pristine places we visit.

1. How to Book & Pay

A spot is yours only after we receive your deposit (30 % minimum) or full payment.
We accept bank transfer, major cards (3 % surcharge), or cash at our Sauraha office.
Published prices are in Nepali Rupees or USD; we honour the rate at the time of booking unless government taxes, park fees, or exchange-rate swings force us to adjust. We will always give you 48 h notice.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Tell us in writing (email or WhatsApp) as soon as plans change.
Refunds are calculated on the day we receive your written notice:
≥ 8 days before departure: 100 % back minus NPR 2 000 handling fee.
4–7 days: 50 % refund.
≤ 3 days or no-show: no refund.
Unused hotel nights, meals, jeep seats, or canoe rides cannot be refunded.
If we cancel for safety or force-majeure reasons you may reschedule within a month or receive a full refund minus any unrecoverable third-party costs.

3. Paperwork & Protection

You must bring: passport valid ≥ 6 months, correct visa.
Comprehensive travel insurance is compulsory; it must cover medical evacuation and jungle/wildlife activities. Carry the policy number and 24 h hotline with you.

4. Itineraries Are Living Documents

Rivers rise, rhinos don’t consult calendars, and roads slide. We may reroute, substitute lodges, or swap vehicles to keep you safe and smiling. The overall spirit and value of the trip remain the same.

5. Our Liability Limit

Himalayan Jungle Adventure acts only as your agent for hotels, airlines, jeep operators, and elephant-breeding centres. We are not liable for strikes, weather, pandemics, or any act of Shiva that delays or injures you.
Jungle activities carry inherent risk; you voluntarily accept that risk by signing our green “Risk & Release” form at check-in.

6. Your Conduct

Respect wildlife (no selfie sticks at rhino butts), local Tharu culture, and fellow explorers.
Drugs, excessive alcohol, or abusive behaviour will get you ejected from the trip without refund or return transport.

7. Your Data

We store only what is needed: passport copy, next-of-kin, dietary needs. We never sell or spam.
If you tag us on Instagram we may re-share your tiger photo; let us know if you prefer we don’t.

8. Law of the Jungle

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal.
Any dispute will be settled amicably over a cup of chiya first; if that fails, the courts of Chitwan District have sole jurisdiction.
